My Perspective

I work from the assumption that we are all in development, doing the best we can with what we have. Life is really rough and it can cause us to experience, feel, and even do some really terrible stuff. What’s done is done and you don’t need to feel ashamed of it. I see our problems and set backs not as something to make us feel bad but as something to compel us to build new skills or to develop our selves more fully.

When I learn about you, your struggles, and your past I will not think you’re bad or that there is anything wrong with you. I will be eager to help you to understand yourself and your situation more fully, to develop new skills and problem solving strategies, and to grow into a healthier and more peaceful you.

You’re not crazy. You may have been dealt a rough hand in life. I want you to know that you are okay. It’s not your fault. We can work together to help you get to a place you never thought possible. Life can be different. You can be different. It will be a lot of work. You are loved and you are worth it.
